Oh, the heat finds you where you are, so see yourself drinking a cup of tea or a mint Julep. Or take a bottle of Madeira wine and a blanket down by the river and watch the sunset, feeling the warm wet southern breezes against your face and deeply inhale the scent of jasmine so sweet it becomes one with your soul. This is the world of Wellington Cross, and I want to take you there. This plantation has more stories than you can imagine. So many stories, you will need to shoo them away with your hands like lightning bugs. Sit for a spell and read about a world away from our own and far in the past. You may just want to stay.
