Brooke Meadows, a cousin of Jen and Cassie, has just returned from Ireland and a flirtatious friendship with Irishman, Tiernan O’Donnell.  Back in Virginia Beach, she begins working at Dr. Courtney’s office and also helping her at her farmstand at Carson Farm.  It is there that she meets the new hired hand, Dillon McGregor, a handsome cowboy who is polite and charming, and soon makes her forget the Irishman.  She finds herself enjoying the farm life and falling in love with Dillon.  But he has many secrets, which cause her to wonder if she should trust him or not.  When Dillon is shot, she wonders if they will be able to have a life together or not.  Will she get her happily ever after?
